My name is Jonathan Long. I’m an Entrepreneur.

Back in the day I owned a digital marketing agency, which then pivoted to a D2C brand development agency. We created some amazing brands. Brands that you have seen all over social media. There is a good chance you have purchased products from the direct-to-consumer brands my crazy mind and agency developed.

Throughout my career I’ve had a lot of wins, but many losses as well. Don’t believe the course-selling gurus — it’s not an easy game. But, I love it. It’s a creative outlet that I enjoy thoroughly.

When I first exited my brand development agency, I went to work building FAHQ®, a streetwear and skate brand. My client noncompetes allowed me to build a brand in those categories, and it’s been a great experience over the past 9 years doing so.

Well, all those previous client noncompetes are now expired. Building popular D2C brands is rewarding, but having to sit in the shadows and watch others’ get credited for what your mind brought to life has been a tough pill to swallow.

When the time comes to create more epic brands I’m going to get my flowers. My current brand and focus, FAHQ®, means so much to me. I have some very exciting things in the works for it over the next few years.

I spent time brainstorming ideas for future categories and brands outside of that while waiting for all my previous client noncompetes to expire. The categories and concepts I want to attack in the future have winning potential.

So, WTF does this all have to do with $LONG?

Creator Capital Markets is a fascinating concept to me, especially with the live-streaming element on Pump.fun. I wanted to participate, but in a different way. So, I am launching the first brand-creator creator coin.

WTF is a brand-creator creator coin? Well, it’s a creator coin for a creator who creates brands. And $LONG is the first one.

A coin that, once it meets the requirements, can be added to Solana Pay, and be used as a real-world currency on e-commerce websites that accept Solana Pay as a form of payment.

Fun fact: my brand, FAHQ®, was one of the first brands to test and enable Solana Pay.

I think having a coin that can potentially be implemented as a currency across e-commerce is something different and provides a lot of opportunity in terms of creativity.

Many coins fizzle out because they aren’t sustainable. There are only so many times you can shave your head on a stream, do crazy stunts, etc. It’s simply not sustainable.

A brand-creator creator coin can do a stream with giveaways, showcase upcoming products, get consumer feedback on ideas and concepts, show some of the work that goes on behind the scenes, etc. From design concepts and sourcing manufacturers to manufacturing samples; there are endless possibilities. The streaming element is exciting. I used to be very active on social media back in the day. All of my accounts were verified long before you could buy verification. One of the OGs. But I got burnt out and took a break, archiving most of my content. The break from social media was great over the years, mental health-wise.

As I ramp up to get the social media machine going again, I wanted to make sure to include Pump.fun streams in the mix. But they will not be like most of the streams I see currently.

Let me touch on a few things, to make this crystal clear.

I think it’s very important to be transparent upfront. Creator coins. Brand-creator creator coins. It’s all new. There isn’t a playbook for success. So, I’m going to try things. Things according to my vision; not anyone else’s.

If you cannot comprehend this (or don’t take the time to read this) then I don’t know what to tell you. It would probably be better for you to find something else.

Pump.fun’s streaming component is fascinating to me. I have a full plate running my business. Then, mix in social and family time, etc. I’ll do streams as often as I can, and keep them fresh with different topics and settings. Entrepreneurship isn’t predictable, giving plenty of livestream topics and settings. Quality over quantity, baby!

This creator coin might not make sense to those with a short attention span or those who need a nonstop dopamine rush. There are plenty of other options if that is what you are seeking.

With that being said, many will understand what this is and its potential.

And again, if you don’t understand it, that is fine. But I’m not going to do things to appease people who don’t understand my vision.

I’m not trying to be negative. I’m just being real. You either understand what this is or you don’t. But if you don’t, I’m not going to waste time trying to explain nor argue. Just like you have the right to participate and trade as you wish, I have the right to do my thing according to my vision. Amazing concept, innit?

I’m not lighting myself on fire, shaving my head, etc. All that goofy stuff is fine — not hating. Just nothing I want to be a part of. This isn’t some circus act or schtick. If that is what you are into, you are in luck. Because 99.99% of the options available to you are exactly that. Go wild.

I’m trying to do something new, fun, and different.
